Good bitsEngine pulls strong & starts easily, with a smooth idle and no smoke or untoward noises.Gearbox work perfectly, smooth shifts and feels very tight.The interior is in great condition - original head unit present.Alcantara seats are in great condition.Original gold wheels in mint condition (Refurbished shortly before taken of the road)Completely unmodified which is very rare!Extensive service history & paperwork.Serviced annually at Haven Motor Holdings (independent Japanese specialist) regardless of mileage from 2005 - 2016.Front Brake calipers replaced with rebuilt units 2016.Always ran on Shell V Power(Previously Shell Optimax)
TLC neededThe arches are rusty on the front and rear (see photos). This is supposedly a common issue on JDM cars but nonetheless it will need work here.
There is a dent in the bonnet and a plastic clip that holds grill has snapped (I think this was from a tow bar of a van reversing up our driveway).
Cracked front left indicator & damage to wing (work car park).
The coolant overflows/leaks, I had the radiator replaced but this did not solve the problem. I suspect there is a head gasket leak of exhaust gas into the coolant.
The windscreen has a crack in it (long enough to fail MOT)
Tyres have plenty of tread left but are quite old (Uniroyal Rainsports)

SummaryGreat opportunity to acquire an original and unmolested v4 WRX STI. A small amount of TLC will result in a clean, original, exceptionally well documented modern classic with only 3 previous owners. I had originally planned to undergo this work myself but other life circumstances got in the way. I am happy to answer any questions, arrange video viewings and socially distant viewings. Full test drives will be a challenge as the car has no MOT, however the car is located on a small amount of private land for testing.
