Second owner of this popular, practical hatchback that is in generally good condition for its year.This vehicle does require attention mechanically as the thrust belt in the constantly variable transmission is slipping and this will mean a replacement gearbox is necessaryAir conditioning also needs re-gassing and the cruise control is non functional. Otherwise the car does drives well, but an annoying squeal is present on acceleration initially until a few miles are covered thanks to that slipping thrust belt.  The vehicle is MOT'd until 25th of November 2020 and had no advisories on it's last MOT, it also has a service history from Mercedes main dealer. Body-wise the bonnet exhibits some rippling due to the catch not always locating (pictured) and there are some relatively-minor points commensurate with a car of this age. Interior-wise the drivers seat right bolster has a tear present (pictured) otherwise it is in good shape overall having benefited from never having been smoked in or had pets in. No doubt someone mechanically/practically skilled could readily bring this car up to spec and have a nice little car on the road. I intend to let the auction run so no silly offers, thank you.
