An honest car driven by an elderly driver, with mostly country kms in mechanically excellent condition.
The backstory of this little gem is that for most of its life it was a much loved granny car until almost two years ago, when she rear ended a Pajero with a towball at walking speed. The towball damaged the radiator and bumper, while the spare tyre dinted the bonnet. At which point she sat in a driveway untouched until about two months ago when I replaced all of the aforementioned parts along with the brake master cylinder (and brake fluid), coolant, air filter, battery and all four tyres.
I'll also throw in an oil and oil filter change, so that there is literally nothing to spend for at least the first 6-12 months.
These cars are Japanese built Mazda 323s with Ford badges, lights and panels, they were built on exactly the same production line as the 323 by Mazda workers, in an era when automotive build quality was at its peak. As such, they can run for many many hundreds of thousands of kilometres with minimal maintenance. There are very few cars on the road that can match the Laser/323 for reliability, economy and value.
This car comes with a RWC included.
You won't find a more reliable car for this price.
