### Relisted due to the buyer being highly affected with the NSW bushfires. Completely understandable situation ####
Here we have a WB Kingswood ute. There is a story to this car and i will tell it as best i can from what i know about it and its one owner. It was purchased new from a country Holden dealer in 1981.The owner was a farmer. It was traded in to the same Holden dealer on another new Holden as far as i know.I was told it is a one owner ute and i have the rego papers here. This where the unbelievable happens! The dealer drove this trade in ute to a yard they owned in the area, parked it, removed the battery, locked it and walked away and it sat in that same spot for almost 20 years. The yard was an overflow yard where trade ins were left until they got to them for resale. That didn't happen. This along with 19 other cars mostly perfect driveable traded in Holdens were left on that block. Seven of them are here on my block, saved from the scrap yard!I am under the impression that the dealer was selling a lot of Holdens and the used car yard they had was not big enough to hold all the trade ins.Hence, out of sight out of mind and too much money maybe to worry about trade ins.I have also been told that the farmer had a problem with the original engine( may have seized up i think) so he had a GMH recon long engine fitted. That engine is supposed to have done only aprox 16,000 kmsAlso at that time a new heavy duty radiator and new alternator were fitted along with all other engine components, being either new or reconditioned. All carried out by the dealer.Due to its life in that yard the car has seen 20 years of weather and is in need of a full restoration or as a great donor car for that ute project.Due to the years sitting it has sustained a number of issues, i will try to describe as best can.It has rust as you can see and its bad under the rear window.Brakes are obviously in need of work. The front clip is worth having as is the genuine GMH factory integrated air conditioning.I have managed to start it and it runs lovely. I didn't try to run fuel from the tank, only from a plastic bottle.I may have missed things here so just ask and i can answer as best i can. This lonely old ute was left for dead, but i have saved her and offer her for sale.Be totally aware that she has sat for 20 years in all seasons and survived at least instead of going to the crusher!
I don't want stupid offers, under the starting price and if you are the successful buyer, please go through with the deal as i have had so called buyers win auctions before and dont go through with the sale, wasting my time and money.
I can email photos if you want any, well i assume i can, through ebay? They only allow 12 and that's not enough to show everything really.Cash on pick up only!
Have a look, it's here for sale.Good Luck and Happy Bidding.
