SIMPLY STUNNING 1962 THUNDERBIRD 390
Stunning body with no rust, excellent paint, with one tiny blemish I will fix, mostly original, right down to the cross ply white walls (might drive just a little better with radials lol) restored where needed 20 years ago, I have done what else is needed when its counted.
I just fitted edelbrock carb, as old carby was being annoying after sitting, its included.
Seats are excellent, dash pad has cracks but has a original looking cover, fitted modern stereo under a seat, but rarely used. Aircond is due for regass, slight power steer leek, but only if left sitting for long period, sorts it self when used. chrome isi still great, whole car is, you will be impressed.
Still lots of new rubbers in the boot, but only fit when I am bored, originals are still quite good. Doe leak a few drops of power steer fluid if not used for long periods, once driven its fine.
Drives very well, once those old tyres warm up, no cracking to the tyres, and tread is still good, also have a couple of original spares.
Great long term investment as they are only ru=ising in value and getting harder to find even in the U.
For a full and overly honest description, contact 040 thirty three, 79 five hundred.
Lower reserve set, asking price is fair for the condition, but I am out of room, so cant stand knowing it is not in a nice warm shed.
