I bought this car last year knowing engine needed to be rebuilt, but soon realized that I'm too old for this project, so I have a new 23t roadster that is easy to work on. Now, the original engine is out sitting on an engine stand. It will need lower end work, bearings/possibly crank. Cylinders need honing, possibly pistons.I have all parts (except oil pan) to put back together, all bolts labeled and in baggies, lots of printed out photos I took before disassembly. BUY THIS CAR FOR LESS THAN COST OF AFTERMARKET PARTS. Originally a Texas car. Delivery possible for a fee. OPTION: Buy this car for $4,500 without engine, transmission and torque converter. ALSO: New (2020) Jeff Cheney built LS1 engine using 2002 Trans Am block, ready to be installed 425 HP, AVAILABLE FOR AN EXTRA $5,900. MESSAGE ME ABOUT THESE OPTIONS. I can't seem to change this listing to read Pontiac with LS1 engine.
