Please see the photos for the vehicle's current condition.I have over 150 photos that document the entire condition of the car. Please contact me for a link to the photos as I can only post 24 photos in this listing.
This car is in very nice condition. The body is clean and straight. I did not see any evidence of rust. The interior is very clean, no tears or damage to the leather seats, door panels, dash, and carpets. Shows minor wear only. Smoke and pet free vehicle. There is no sun damage or cracking at the dashboard or the rear window panel. Everything appears to function normally at the time I tested it but I drove the car less than 50 miles in total. The A/C and heat are working fine, the radio and power antenna operate normally, gauges all appear to function properly, lights and signals work fine, no warning lights appear, and all dash functions operate properly. The car drives very well with no noticeable engine, suspension, or braking problems. The top functions properly. The original manuals are included. I do have a pdf copy of the CarFax available.
I do know a little about the car's history. I was told it was a 2 owner car by the second owner's family. They believe the car was purchased new by the original owner in New Jersey and he owned it until 2004 when it was sold to the father and he had it shipped to Idaho. He owned it until he passed away in late 2018 and ownership transferred to his son. The car was always stored in his garage and was not driven during the winter months. The car sat in the garage for the last 2 years with very little use. I purchased it from the son as he was not interested in keeping and maintaining the car. I can't verify this history is correct but the CarFax ownership records indicate that when title registrations changed it was due to address changes. The eBay vehicle check shows 5 owners but I'm told the transfer of title to Florida was the original owner moving state to state and the 2019 title transfers are from the estate to the son and then the transfer to me when I purchased it in October. The radiator was replaced in October 2019. The oil and filter were changed within the last 50 miles. A complete professional detail was done on 11/15/2019. The engine should have a tune-up done soon. The car spent the last 15 years at over 6500 feet in altitude and it seems to run a little rich at lower altitudes. The car runs fine and doesn't stall but I think a general engine tune would be a good idea. The only other issues I noticed are cosmetic. The driver side visor has some staining on the top side, there are very fine hairline cracks in the wood veneer finish by the shift lever (in the finish only), the driver door storage compartment has a crack under the leather finish (it's fully functional), the automatic antenna functions properly but does show a slight bend at the top, and there is some minor staining on the back side of the trunk carpet.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Again, please contact me for a link to see a complete photo documentation of the car.
I will help coordinate shipping if needed. The car is currently stored in a garage in Boise, Idaho.
Sold as-is. No warranty or guarantee included or implied. Clear title in hand, in my name, for a quick transfer. I am not a dealer. I'm looking to sell it for what I think is a very fair price and make a few bucks. I'm okay holding onto it and enjoying it if it doesn't sell.
