I have up for sale my 2nd generation 1979 Ford Bronco with a beautiful two tone paint job and a nearly 100% original interior. It has the original Ford 400 (some performance modifications-headers,exhaust, your guess is as good as mine besides that but it has PLENTY of power) aswell as the original 3 speed automatic transmission. I just made a 2.5hr trip with it with zero issues, it will run 70-75 mph without breaking a sweat. It’s one of the least rusted out 79 Broncos I’ve ever seen, it has two small holes at the bottom of the drivers side door (not all the way through), a small spot on the passenger door, small spots below the taillights and a couple tiny spots of surface rust here and there. The paint job is approximately 20 years old and is in pretty good shape with the exception of light fading on the hood and some heavy fading on the top of the tailgate. Mechanically every gauge, the electric rear window, the radio, lights, windshield wipers everything except cruise control works absolutely great. The gas gauge goes to full when the tank is full but the tank is only halfway empty when the gauge reads empty if that makes any sense. The interior is where this bronco truly shines.....it’s is all original with beautiful tan seats and carpet that show virtually zero wear. The Bronco shows 90k original miles and I believe that’s the true mileage on it, I have no reason to think otherwise. The dash has some damage up top but that’s about the only thing in the interior that’s not near perfection. As far as aftermarket items the Bronco does have a CB Radio installed, a newer stereo system, and very bright rear backup lights. Overall I have given a very honest and fair evaluation below of the Bronco:Interior-9/10-Due to Cracked dashExterior-7/10-Fading on hood/tailgate, rock chips here and there.Mechanical-7/10-Gas gauge funky, Brakes aren’t great, some play in steering, rattles here and there. Side note:It does have an AC compressor that works....it kicks the belt off so needs some attention but it will work if you put the belt on. Also, I have a 3in lift kit and a few additional parts I’m going to be throwing in with the purchase of the bronco.
As you can see I try to describe things accurately and be 100% honest and open when conducting business, I have a nearly 10minute walkaround video and about 15 more pics of the undercarriage/engine bay I’m more then happy to send upon request. Please do not hesitate to call or text me (Alex) at Twofive6-34five-6nineone9 anytime day or night. I will contact you back at my earliest convenience and answer your questions as best I can. Please do not bid unless you have the funds available and will come through with the purchase of the Bronco, I have to pay insertion fees when I list it. Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
