|Car location:||College Station, Texas, United States|
New AMD trunk floor installed. 1970 Plymouth GTX. 440 starts and runs, 727 automatic is said to be rebuilt. Car will need very little to get on the road.
Drum brakes on all 4 corners. The carb is a newer Holley I had on one of my other cars. The electrical system is not hooked up but appears to all be there. The engine currently runs off a keyed switch located in the ashtray assembly. No fuel tank, just a small 1 gallon temporary tank is under the hood to run/lot drive the car. All lights etc, everything is bypassed except for ignition and starter.
This is a Texas car. Frame rails, torque boxes, all the critical stuff is awesome. The original wheel houses are only tacked in place. It can be tubbed, I often will run a 2 or 3" metal strip in the cut to accept big tires in the back, or finish stitching it up in factory locations. Super easy to do.
I can include quarter panel replacements, full AMD's for an additional $1100. Retail these are $1500+. Be sure to take transportation considerations into account as these are big and cumbersome to move. For international buyers I possibly could fasten on top of the existing quarters for shipment. Not ideal, but at least is an option.
The pictures show overall condition, there is some typical deterioration around the rear window sill and quarters have the typical mopar issues. There is one small 4" x 3" area on the floor pan I would replace in the driver floor, the rest looks really really good.
I have a non-original rear seat that is included, metal is good on it.
I do not have the front seats. They were lost. I possibly have some front seats that would be available for purchase separately that might work out of 65 and 73 mopars.
Clear Texas Title is currently being processed in my name. I will not have the blue title in hand for another 2 or so weeks. Please plan accordingly. I wanted to make sure the title was updated, it was old, so incase the car went overseas etc. everything was in order. The car can be stored, inside, at my shop awaiting the title or it can be sold with a Bill of Sale and the title will be sent via FedEx as soon as it arrives. I don't care, been doing this for 20 years, so not my first rodeo whatever you as the buyer are comfortable with. But car cannot leave my shop until all funds post in full.
I am an honest Ebayer and expect the same from potential buyers. Feel free to ask any questions, but no stupid lowball offers, I don't have to sell and last time I checked the 1970 GTX's were kind of hard to find on every street corner so please buy/offer accordingly. I do have other cars coming up for sale to please continue to watch.
I can provide you with some transport recommendations, that is up to the buyer. All sales are final, $2000.00 deposit due within 24 hours of purchase and is non-refundable. If you need the car inspected, do so before you make an offer. Thanks again for looking and God Bless.
