|:||“Survivor just out of storage. One of 1650 made and of fewer than 100 left, almost entirely original with one repaint. Shows 36382 miles. Seats were removed, cleaned, and repaired, and have '57 stamps. Carpet non-original. VIN 50414364, engine S26-A-2152, which appear to match.Largely rust-free, with a few small sections of pans needing patches. It appears the fenders over the headlights and the lower rear rockers were repaired. Recent work includes flush of fuel system, oil change, new belts, hoses, fuel pump/filter, battery, all wheel cylinders, front shoes, and master cylinder. Starts and runs well; tranny shifts fine.Non-functioning items include D/S rear window, clock, radio. Exhaust manifold leaks, and it needs new mufflers and pipes. There is periodic noise from a valve lifter.”|

This is a driver-quality survivor just out of years-long storage. It is not in the registry, and little is known of the provenance other than the last owner to whom it was titled. It appears to be numbers-matching and nearly all original, including seat upholstery and trunk liner. There is wear on the arm rests in front and some wear of seat fabric, but there are no holes in the seats. The headliner has a defect or two. Everything works except the clock, radio, and D/S rear auto window. The repaint is still decent, and the car looks good from 10 feet. There are two or three small areas of floor rust, mostly involving one layer of two-layer floor pans in the front; all are easily patchable and no new pans are needed. The car has recently been gone through to make it roadworthy, and it still needs a new exhaust system and repair of a leaking exhaust manifold gasket. There is some valve noise intermittently, seeming to be from a hydraulic lifter.
