|:||“purchased in '12 for $17k, was a 1 owner AZ car for 43 years. runs and drives good...starts up the on the 1st attempt! Immediately after purchase I had the engine rebuilt and have put another 1,000mi on the engine. I also had a new wiring harness installed, a new aluminum radiator w/ fan blade and clutch, a new Brake Master Cylinder and core, a new windshield wiper motor, new wheels (but the orig. hubs come with the car), and a new steering wheel. The weak points: the paint. the car was repainted at some point and it was nothing special, she really needs to be sanded down and given a proper paint job. the body is fine except for one small 1" area on the L Rear Qrtr panel (in photos). And I just noticed that the fuel screen in the tank has desintegrated, so that should be addressed soon. Engine runs good but is due a tuneup as she'll knock at times upon cut off. I just retired, so it's time to downsize. I took her to Cars & Coffee this weekend and she did fine, but she's 49 & needs TLC”|

The engine VIN, is a nine character number normally found beside or under the engine ID code. The engine VIN (19S[hidden information]) is stamped onto the boss by the final assembly plant (where the car is actually built), the number contains a divisional code (1 = Chevrolet), the last digit of the vehicle model year, and a 1 character letter code for the vehicle assembly plant ( S = St. Louis). Following the three characters are the last six digits of the vehicle serial number. The last six digits should match the last six digits of the car's VIN. If the numbers do not match, the engine is not original.
The original jack & tire iron are missing. All of the smog equipment was removed by the original owner but it's still available if you want it, along with the original chrome trim (see pics).
