1961 MGA 1600 Roadster named "Louis". Formerly owned by the late Louis DiPisquale of Kettering, Ohio. It is a heater delete car. This car was raced in New Mexico and then raced at Mid-Ohio where it became an Ohio car. it was then left parked for many years prior to a frame-off restoration finished in 1999. This is when Louis purchased the car and continued to make improvements with a carmel colored leather interior and the many chrome accessories under the hood. The engine had mildly prepared racing upgrades including a racing cam, ported head, tubular header exhaust. Louis also had the Bullet sport racing mirrors installed paying homage to the car's racing heritage. This MGA was shown regularly in the Dayton/Cincinnati, Ohio area for several years ending with Louis' passing in 2015. The car had been judged in more than one Concours D'Elegance where it garnered 92.5 and 93 points. (This was prior to it's current upgraded detailed condition).
